The Panaracer Purple Lite is a lightweight TPU inner tube developed for road racing and performance riding. Its thermoplastic polyurethane construction allows it to fold into a much smaller package than a conventional butyl tube, making it particularly useful as a compact spare for riders who want to reduce both carried weight and storage bulk.

Designed for Performance. The lightweight construction keeps rotational weight low while retaining the convenience of a conventional inner-tube setup. Panaracer also reinforces the valve area with a rim nut and base spacer, helping the valve sit securely against the rim and reducing unwanted movement or rattling.

Install with Care. The valve uses a heat-resistant metal tip to better tolerate heat from electric inflators, while the valve base itself remains plastic and should be handled carefully. Panaracer also advises avoiding excessive heat exposure, particularly from prolonged braking on steep descents with rim-brake wheels.
